There's a Facebook group trying to find the buildings depicted in A.J. Casson's painting titled, "Bobcaygeon." The group, In the Footsteps of the Group of Seven, is composed of hobbyists trying to find the places that inspired the art works created by the Group of Seven.
After spotting April Scott's post to the Facebook group, BOBCAYGEON, asking if anyone recognized the buildings in her Casson print, In the Footsteps of the Group of Seven took up the challenge and set to work using Google Streetview.
Likely the original buildings that inspired the work have been torn down, especially if they were along the waterfront.
